A growing Canadian distribution network

ALDG is developing regional partnerships that bring its manufacturing expertise closer to contractors, builders and professional customers.

Who is the program for?

The program is suitable for material distributors, contractors, specialized installers, technical retailers, and companies in the aluminum or construction sector that have an active customer base and wish to develop their territory with ALDG.

Key prerequisites

  1. An active commercial network: contractors, builders, property managers, developers, or professional clients.
  2. Sector knowledge: ability to understand project needs and guide clients to the right resources.
  3. Storage and handling capacity: secure space and organization adapted to the distributed products. The required capacity varies depending on the business model and territory.
  4. A designated point person: responsible for sales, technical communications, and follow-up with ALDG.
  5. Commitment to training: participation in product integration and use of up-to-date ALDG documents.
  6. Professional service: adequate preparation of requests, order follow-up, after-sales service, and respect for brand image.
  7. A territorial development plan: target markets, clientele, volume potential, and realistic growth strategy.
  8. Appropriate skills and authorizations: when a partner offers installation, they remain responsible for the permits, licenses, insurance, and skills required in their jurisdiction.

A range designed for multiple markets

Depending on the territory and commercial agreement, the reseller can develop an offering that includes KONA railings, SKYRise systems, aluminum decks, M105 and M110 steps, stringers and structures, columns, privacy screens, and associated accessories.

What ALDG brings to the partnership

  • Product integration and training;
  • Catalogs, technical sheets, and sales tools;
  • Support for bids and order preparation;
  • Access to a team of technologists, engineers, and project experts, when required;
  • Manufacturing and logistics coordination;
  • Authorized visuals and marketing support;
  • Territory analysis and commercial development follow-up.

Volumes, commercial conditions, territories, and exclusivity possibilities are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. An application does not automatically constitute an appointment as an authorized reseller.

Quality, compliance, and responsibility

ALDG supports its partners with documentation and manufacturing expertise. However, the selection of a system must consider usage, height, loads, anchors, the building, and jurisdiction. Building codes are adopted and modified by provinces and territories; project-specific validation, and sometimes the intervention of a professional, may be required. Any mention of certification or compliance must correspond to the product, configuration, and applicable documents.

  1. Submit the application form.
  2. Discuss your company with France Hutchison.

  6. Complete integration and training.
